Access
Spots introduced in this topic are located between Kochi and Cape Muroto. It is easy to access to each spot from Kochi. In the Tokushima-Muroto route, the number of busses between Kannoura and Cape Muroto is fewer than that in the Kochi-Muroto route.

Tei mélange (Nishibun fishing port): Get off at the Nishibun [西分] station on the Gomen-Nahari Line and walk to the port for 30 minutes (about 2 km). There is a sign indicating a way to Nishibun fishing port [西分漁港] on a road (Route 55) near the port. See a map here or on Page 2.
Kuromi: Take a bus for Muroto [室戸] or Kannoura [甲浦] if you approach from Nahari/Kochi or a bus for Aki [安芸] from Cape Muroto, and get off at the Kuromi-daini [黒耳第二] bus stop. The Kuromi beach is near the bus stop. See a map here or on Page 3.
Cape Gyodo: Take a bus for Muroto [室戸] or Kannoura [甲浦] if you approach from Nahari/Kochi or a bus for Aki [安芸] from Cape Muroto, and get off at the Shimurafudo [新村不動] bus stop. Cape Gyodo is near the bus stop. Also, walk from Kuromi to the cape (about 2 km). There is also good exposures of alternating beds of sand and mud on a beach behind a souvenir shop "Kiramesse Muroto [キラメッセ室戸]" between Kuromi and Cape Gyodo. See a map here or on Page 4.
Cape Muroto: Take a bus for Muroto [室戸] or Kannoura [甲浦] if you approach from Nahari/Kochi or a bus for Aki [安芸] from Kannoura/Tokushima, and get off at the Muroto-misaki [室戸岬] bus stop. There is an office of Muroto Geopark at the bus stop. You can get information on the Muroto area (map, accommodation, etc.) there. See a map here or on Page 5.
